Dr. Tonka Kaloferova DM

    Dr. Tonka Kaloferova, DM is not a graduated artist. She has inherited her gift from her father.

    She has been painting since she was a small child. She organized some independent exhibitions while she was a student. She studied medicine and she devoted herself to her medical career. She participated in post-graduate programs here in Bulgaria as well as abroad, she successfully completed her doctoral studies, she opened and managed the first private multi-profiled hospital in Bulgaria. In 2000, she started painting again. She made some pictures for the hospital first and then she opened a gallery in Varna with her own exposition of 100 oil paintings and acryl artworks.

    She has organized independent exhibitions in Bulgaria and Canada. In Canada, 78 of her paintings were bought in less than six months. Her works comprise more than 400 paintings, tablewares painted by hand and accessories of glass and porcelain. Her works are owned by connoisseurs in England, Germany and Macedonia.

    She has recently opened a new gallery dedicated to charity. There is also an advertising agency that gives her the chance to offer posters, cards, calendars, etc. with fragments of her works, and the works of other artists you choose, printed on them.
