THE GALLERY is located in EUROPE, BULGARIA, THE TOWN OF VARNA, NEAR THE SEACOAST OF BLACK SEA IN A BEAUTIFUL PARK. The gallery, as well as the site, are owner by Dr. Tonka Kaloferova, DM. SHE IS AN ARTIST HERSELF. TOGETHER WITH A TEAM OF EXPERTS AND CO-THINKERS, SHE STARTED A PROJECT CALLED

The site of the gallery can show you original works of fine and applied arts and photography of plenty of well-known and unknown artists from every corner of the globe. You can see the work of art, but the name of the artist will be hidden unless you buy it. This is no accidental misplacement on our hand. This way, you will be able to evaluate the qualities of the work, regardless of the popularity of its author. This approach encourages more artists to participate in our noble charitable activity and it helps young, unknown, but good artists, as there are quite a few of them, make a name. Information on the best selling artist and the style of art best preferred in the contemporary society will be regularly published. Each year, the citizen OR the organization that has bought the greatest number of works from our gallery, or paid the highest prices will be given a piece of art by the best selling artist as a prize.
The site will sell out each new exposition by auction for one month.
Each last Saturday of the month, counted from September 2007, the Gallery will organize a public auction for the exposition.
All the sums, collected from the bidding, shall be automatically put in an account that is opened for charity. This account shall be controlled by a committee presided by a notary public.

Until enrolling at the Higher Institute of Medicine:
Two years in acting playing leading characters in the military theatre. One-person stage shows of self-written productions with-self composed musical backgrounds. Laureate of spoken word. Independent exhibitions in fine art – oil.
Paints large murals in the hospital.
2000 – opens the first gallery for fine arts, which closes down concurrently with the
hospital /sale of the building/.
2000-2006 – over 300 paintings – oil and acrylic paint on canvass; Five independent exhibitions in Albena, Golden Sands, The Sports Palace, The Palace of culture. Canada – 78 paintings sold;
2007 October opens Art gallery for charity, Art club; The Gallery works on a project “Art and Health”; Throughout 2008 expands the subject matter with a second project “Avant-garde technologies applicable in art”. At the outset introduces laser engraving, which combined with applied art and fine arts, small-sculpting and sculpting offers numerous possibilities for application in the furniture, fashion, construction and architectural industries. Develops over 300 unique projects.
History of Art gallery for charity, “St. Luca”
10th October 2007 − opening with a joint exhibition by eminent artists from Varna.
3.11.2007 – Naming of the gallery after “St.Luca” – healer and artist. Exhibition of icons by eminent iconographers from Varna.
23.11.2007 − Independent exhibition of painting / canvass, acrylic and oil /
23.12.2007 − Independent exhibition of applied arts: hand-painted porcelain and glass. Charity auction.
10.03.2008 − Independent exhibition of paintings and abstractions on glass
23.03.2008 − Joint exhibition of glass artworks and photography. A charity auction was held for a private cause – the treatment of a child in need of an urgent transplant abroad.
23.04.2008 − Exhibition by old masters
19.05.2008 − Exhibition by applied-arts painters of painted silk. Three dresses were tailored and donated to graduate orphans.
09.06.2008 − Exhibition by the brothers Atanas Kolev (lives and creates in Austria) and Krasimir Kolev (lives and creates in Sweden). Exhibits his paintings for the first time in Bulgaria
23.07.2008 − Three exhibitions-in-one: a unique by conception and realisation art show −
Walking exhibition – a fashion show by professional models wearing costumes
designed by Fashion house “Aries Unikat”, Sofia, decorated with appliqués paintings and motifs made by laser engraving by Dr T.Kaloferova (Dr of MS), prints of paintings by internationally renowned artist Papa Zhan and Dr Tonka Kaloferova, autographed by the artists. This is the first art collection of the brand “Zhan i Toni”/ in the process of registration. A first time exhibition of laser engraved art “acrylic, glass, wood, metal” designed and produced by Dr T.Kaloferova (Dr of MS).
To date the works of Dr T.Kaloferova (Dr of MS) number over 500 paintings/ painting on canvass, glass/ unique objects from glass, porcelain, acrylic, metal, Plexiglas, textiles, hand painted and laser engraved, murals, small statues.
